Terry Bishop was born in Atlanta and grew up up a Georgia Bulldog fan.
His family moved to northwest Mississippi in 1983 and he decided to cheer for a different team with a bulldog as its mascot.Â
He became a Mississippi State fan.
"At that time, I had to pick a team and I went with Mississippi State," Bishop said.Â
So when Bishop got the opportunity to work on something dealing with the MSU athletic department, he jumped on it. Bishop works for River City Erectors in Rossville, Tenn., and has been the project manager, job superintendent and general foreman for his company during the construction at Davis Wade Stadium the last year and a half.
"It's an awesome feeling to know that I am taking such a big part in the construction of the stadium," Bishop said. "I take a lot of pride in the fact that I'm helping renovate a stadium to a team that I have followed since 1983."
