Shannon Naomi Mosley, 23, of Vossburg, passed away on July 12, 2014 at Central Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS.
She was born on May 9, 1991 to Calvin and Debbie (Cook) Mosley in Waynesboro, MS.
Shannon is survived by her father, Calvin B. Mosley; mother, Debbie Mosley; fiance’, Thomas Odom; brother, Calvin A. Mosley; sister, Amy Green; niece, Taryn Green; nephews, Cooper Green and Kayson Green; maternal grandmother, Joyce Parks; maternal grandfather, Richard (Jean) Cook; paternal grandmother, Catherine Mosley; paternal grandfather, Howard Mosley; and numerous extended family & friends.
She was a 2009 graduate of Quitman High School and a 2011 graduate of Jones Jr. College. She was a current student at Mississippi State University. Shannon was an avid animal lover and loved spending time outdoors.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Wright’s Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, 10:00 am at the Wright’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen Bryant officiating.
Burial will take place in the Goodwater Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim Mosley, Joe Mosley, Davis Cook, Ryan Colston, Kyle Colston, Riley Cook, T. J. Mosley and Glenn Cook. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kenneth Holifield, Clayton Holifield, Bryant Smith and Abraham Smith.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Clarke County Animal Rescue League or your favorite charity.
