Wilson's size makes him special for MSU

July 15, 2014

HOOVER, Ala. – De'Runnya Wilson burst onto the scene as a wide receiver last season for Mississippi State.
As a freshman, he had 26 catches for 351 yards and three touchdowns. Wilson checks in at 6-foot-5 and that gives him all the advantage in the battles on the gridiron.
"He has tremendous ball skills, naturally catching the ball and great leaping ability," MSU head coach Dan Mullen said at Tuesday's Southeastern Conference media day. "At 6-foot-5 on top of that, (and) body control, he does make a tough matchup."
