Forks and Corks to feature famous chef from Mississippi

July 24, 2014

Starkville Area Arts Council’s annual Forks and Corks events will be held Friday and Saturday at Dawg House Sports Grill on Main Street and Thyme on Lampkin Street. This year’s events feature appearances by Poplarville native Whitney Miller, winner of season one of Fox’s “Masterchef,” as well as a competition between local chefs. (Submitted photo)

For many people, eating is a necessary activity and cooking is a daily chore.

But for others, it is an art form.

Sponsored by the Starkville Area Arts Council, the annual Forks and Corks event works to educate the community about culinary arts while simultaneously highlighting local talent from the area.
