Body found in apartment - No foul play suspected in student’s death

A young man believed to be a Mississippi State University student was found dead in a 21 Apartments unit Thursday afternoon.

Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department Commander Brett Watson said the department responded to a report of a body found in a second-story unit at 21 Apartments near Mississippi State University at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday. He said investigators found the body upon entering the apartment. Watson said the individual was believed to be a Mississippi State University student.
