Tournament experience is something that can't be beat.
Starkville Academy's fast pitch softball team knows this, which is why today the Lady Volunteers will welcome teams from the surrounding area to the Starkville Sportsplex for the Starkville Academy Invitational.
"This experience is invaluable," SA coach Kayla Mosley said. "Playing two, three, four or possibly five games in one day takes a lot of mental focus. If you don't play in these tournaments and you go to North or South or State raw, you are at a disadvantage."
