Mississippi State plans to win this season on the football field.
The Bulldogs enter the 2014 season with high expectations from both themselves and the outside world. Head coach Dan Mullen and his players have talked about going to Atlanta and playing for the Southeastern Conference Championship at the end of the year.
That has been at the forefront since SEC media days in Hoover, Ala., last month.
“Our guys know what they put in and what they expect of themselves," Mullen said. "I love it. We embrace those expectations within our program. I’m just proud. Our guys have worked hard. I’m proud they feel we have a championship-caliber team.”
