SA's Andrews encouraged despite loss

August 5, 2014

Despite losing a 3-0 decision to Madison-Ridgeland Academy Tuesday, coach Cole Andrews saw some good things out of his Starkville Academy soccer team.
"What is encouraging is we have some very tough, young players," Andrews said. "In the second half, a lot of young players who haven't played much were on the field and they really showed out. I told some of the other ones this is going to be a tough season because we have plenty of people fighting for spots."
