Excitement over the first day of school is sweeping throughout the area, particularly for the youngest ones who are for the first time entering kindergarten.
Senior Anna McKell remembers her first day at Starkville Academy and looking back, there is no where she would rather spend her academic and athletic career.
“I have been here ever since kindergarten,” McKell said. “It is almost like family to me. With it being such a small school, we are all so close. To be a part of that and having people there to support me and just having the opportunity to go to Starkville Academy is a blessing.”
