Chris Jones' joking attitude may take a backseat this season.
The Mississippi State sophomore defensive lineman enters his second season with big expectations on his shoulders. He was a highly sought after recruit out of Houston High School and didn't disappoint in his first year with the Bulldogs.
With those expectations, Jones may be locked in more this season than he was last.
"I feel like I'm more on a serious note because last year it was a learning year for me," Jones said. "I feel like my expectations are so much higher than last year because last year I really didn't expect to play as much as I did. This year my expectations are so high that I have to be so serious about everything. I can't just have fun."
