Lady Jackets overcome nerves for opening win

Outside of a bit of first game nerves, everything went Starkville High School's way Tuesday on the volleyball court.
In three straight sets (25-6, 25-7, 25-3), the Lady Yellowjackets claimed their season opening match over visiting Aberdeen.
"I always want more energy, but we controlled the controllable," SHS coach Lauren Love said. "We had good in system plays with good transition."
