Lady Volunteers fail to capitalize on opportunities in loss

August 16, 2014

Softball is a game of capitalizing on each and every opportunity.
The Starkville Academy Lady Volunteers struggled with that in game one of the Exposure Tournament on Saturday as they dropped an 8-3 contest to Bayou Academy.
"We got runners on several times and just couldn't capitalize," SA coach Kayla Mosley said. "You have to put the bat on the ball to give those runners a chance to advance. We have to do a better job of that."
