The Terry Bulldogs were having a difficult time getting a clean snap to the quarterback on Saturday.
There was a reason for that.
When Derion Ford, Lorenzo Dantzler and Maleke Bell are getting into the backfield consistently, it can cause a few mistakes.
Ford, Dantzler, Bell and the rest of the Starkville High School defensive line made life difficult for Terry as the Yellowjackets won a 24-0 two-quarter varsity scrimmage at Mississippi State's Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday.
The play of the defensive line did not surprise SHS head coach Jamie Mitchell.
"That's the strength of our football team," Mitchell said. "As they go, we're going to go a lot this year. I feel like we have about five or six guys with good depth up there. We're going to need everyone of them."
