It was bittersweet Monday night as the Pilot Club of Starkville honored longtime member Molly Howard.
Monday was Howard's last meeting before she retires to Georgia to be closer to her family, said Allyson Leitner, Pilot Club president.
Howard was a member of Anchor Club from 1960-62 in Monroe, Ga. Anchor International is the youth division of Pilot International and encourages high school students to be of service to the community. It is also where Howard first learned about Pilot Club.
