Rue21 will open one of its largest stores in the state at Starkville’s University Square Shopping Center Nov. 6, combining four of its store concepts into the former location of the Sears Hometown Store.

Veronica Presley, store manager and store opening trainer at Rue21 in Tupelo, said Rue21 divides its national market into districts, and her Tupelo store is currently the largest store in a district that includes Greenville, Greenwood, Columbus, Oxford and Batesville. Starkville’s Rue21 store, she said, will overtake Tupelo’s to become the largest in the district.
