For Boys and Girls Club of Starkville Unit Director Antoine Walker, the last two weeks have been a chance to adjust to his new surroundings, if not a new job.

Walker shifted to the Starkville club after working in the same position at the Columbus Boys and Girls Club. He succeeds Lucas Davenport, who Chief Professional Officer for the Boys and Girls Club of the Golden Triangle Nadia Dale said left the club at the end of the summer to pursue other career opportunities. Davenport began working as unit director for the Starkville club in December 2012.
