There are reasons for Starkville High School football fans will want to be present at Yellowjacket Stadium tonight.
It will be the season opener for the Starkville Yellowjackets and will also be the first outing on the new all-artificial turf field at SHS.
With the potential of the Jackets having a pretty good team, head coach Jamie Mitchell believes that will bring out some people as well.
"We're expecting an overflow crowd," Mitchell said.
One thing SHS fans may not get when they come for the 7 p.m. kickoff against the Noxubee County Tigers is a great amount of points being scored.
