Choctaw County rallies to beat French Camp

August 23, 2014

ACKERMAN – A rivalry exists in Choctaw County.
Friday night those two teams opened up the 2014 football campaign and after almost three hours of action it was the Chargers of Choctaw County achieving the 50-13 victory over the French Camp Panthers.
"We were a little amped, jacked up for the first game and missed some opportunities early, but we settled down and played well in the end," Chargers coach Adam Dillinger said. "To come out and win the first one is good. Now we have to get to work on the second one. Always have to keep working."
French Camp took possession first. Outside of a 4-yard run from Luke McKnight the Panthers saw their turn end on a three and out.
