BOA mulls planning for capital outlay

The verdict is still out on whether Starkville's Board of Aldermen will endure the process of crafting a comprehensive capital improvements plan.
Aldermen took no action to proceed during a called meeting Tuesday at City Hall, after city financial adviser Demery Grubbs of Clinton presented an outline of a 1-3-month process designed to produce a 3-year capital improvements plan. That plan would likely include street and drainage projects, as well as equipment and other one-time expenditures.
