Rising Star Lodge makes donation to OSERVS

December 3, 2010

The brothers of Rising Star Lodge No. 31, the Ladies of Rising Star Court No. 30 Heroines of Jericho and Mable O. Lott No. 465 of the Order of Eastern Stars contributed $450 to OSERVS (Oktibbeha-Starkville Emergency Response Volunteer Services) to benefit the tornado victims in Starkville/Oktibbeha County area.
Pictured are Worshipful Master Julius Clarke, OSERVS Executive Director Becky Wilkes and Senior Warden R. Frank Nichols. OSERVS volunteers are working to raise funds to help the tornado victims meet long-term needs and replenish funds the new agency has already spent helping them.
Monetary donations may be mailed to OSERVS, P.O. Box 443, Starkville, MS 39760, or dropped off at the Starkville Daily News offices at 304 E. Lampkin St. during regular business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) weekdays. A special mailbox for monetary donations has been placed just inside the front door of the SDN offices. Donations may also be dropped off at the Mayor’s Office at City Hall on Lampkin Street. For more information about OSERVS, contact Wilkes at 418-8911.
