The funeral for Dorothy Rose Wallace Hall will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville with burial in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. The Rev. Buddy Bailess will officiate.
Mrs. Hall passed into eternal life on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at the age of 80. She was a loving wife to Charles Henry Hall for 64 years and a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.Â
She was a long-time employee of the MSU Department of Marketing and a faithful member of Longview United Methodist Church. She lived each day as evidence of God’s grace in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Odie Virgil and Audie Bell Cates Wallace, and two brothers, Odie Fred Wallace and Bradley Wallace.
She is survived by her daughters and her “sons,” Brenda and Al Sellers and Tammye and Randy Haynes; as well as six grandchildren, Jeremy Noel (Tina) Sellers, Lucas Andrew Sellers, Erin Ashley Sellers, Leah Suzanne Sellers, Haley Rose Haynes, and Lyndsey Lyle Haynes; great-grandchildren, Madison Noelle Sellers, Jason Henke, and Justin Henke; siblings, Frances Gastinel, Betty (Ed) Pharr, Jack (Mary Jo) Wallace and sister-in-law, Lou Wallace and numerous nieces and nephews.
