Artist Wyatt Waters to visit downtown bookstore

Wyatt Waters will be visiting Book Mart and Cafe from 3 to 5 p.m. today.
Waters has illustrated a new book called “Christmas Memories from Mississippi.” 
The book is a collection of Christmas essays from 38 Mississippians including Oprah Winfrey, Will D. Campbell, Richard Ford, Steve Yarbrough and many others. 
Waters is widely known for his vibrant artistic renditions of southern culture.  His paintings have been featured in Art and Antiques, American Artist, Watercolor and Mississippi Magazine. 
His work is held in some of the largest private and corporate collections. 
He also has influenced a generation of young artist through his classes at Mississippi College and Milsaps.
In addition to “Christmas Memories from Mississippi,”  Waters has a 2011 watercolor calendar that will also be available.
