Jack “Poboy” Franklin

The funeral for Jack “Poboy” Franklin will be Friday at noon at Rock Hill United Methodist Church with burial in Rock Hill Cemetery.
The Rev. Jerome Wilson will officiate.
Visitation will be today from 12 to 5 p.m. with family hour from 5 to 7 p.m. at West Memorial Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Franklin, 74, died n Dec. 10, 2010 at the OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.
He was a custodian born in Oktibbeha County. He was a Methodist.
Mr. Franklin worked for the Vanlandingham Lumber Company for more than 30 years.
He also worked for Rutherford farms, Mississippi State University and the Tony Miles Construction Company.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Frankiln of Starkville; son: Alvin (Quoin) Franklin of Jackson; daughters, Beverly (Devrice) Brown of Starkville, Shirley and Stephanie Franklin both of Starkville; and three grandchildren.
