The funeral for Thomas Jerry Brooks will be today at 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with burial in Blythe Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Rev. Curtis Guess will officiate.
Mr. Brooks, 69, died on January 6, 2011 at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
He was a heavy Equipment operator and a member of the Baptist Faith having attended Blythe Creek Baptist and Self Creek Bible Churches.
Coleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
