Mike Brand added 12 points for Starkville.
Tori Rice put up seven points and 10 rebounds for the Jackets, while Ravontae Gandy scored five points and added 10 rebounds himself in a loss that drops the Jackets to 11-3 for the season.

The Starkville girls team is now 5-10.
