HOULKA – West Oktibbeha's Kendrin Yates scored 22 points and Dantaveous Crawford added 17 as the Timberwolves defeated Class A, Region 4 Tournament host Houlka 60-53 on Friday.
With the win, West Oktibbeha advances to today's 6:30 p.m. tourney championship game against Okolona.
Regardless of today's outcome, the Timberwolves will still host a home playoff game in Maben on Tuesday.
After Friday's win, West Oktibbeha improved to 20-7 overall.

HOULKA – Three Lady Timberwolves scored in double figures as West Oktibbeha defeated Tremont on Friday in Houlka at the Class A, Region 4 Tournament.
Mississippi State signee Shamia Robinson scored 25 points for the Lady Timberwolves, who improved to 18-9 overall.
Robinson's big night was aided by Brenisha Brownlee's 21 points and Brittany Jones' 13.
With the win, West Oktibbeha will play Okolona today at 5 p.m. for the tournament championship.
Win or lose today, the Lady Timberwolves will host a playoff game on Tuesday in Maben.
