Maxine Wilson Edwards, 89, of Greenwood, died Feb. 25, 2011, at Sunflower County Hospital. Services were held Feb. 27 at First United Methodist Church in Greenwood.
Burial was at Odd fellows Cemetery in Greenwood.
She was born in Webster County and was a resident of Greenwood since the age of 19, until 8 years ago when she moved to Indianola. She retired after a career in sales with Sears. She worked with Greenwood Leflore Hospital before retirement 20 years ago.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Terrell and husband, Mitch, of Indianola, and her daughter Beth Crawford, and husband, John, of Starkville; five grandchildren, Mitchell Terrell and wife, Lisa, Shea Terrell, all of Indianola, Emily Fowler and husband, Matt, of Columbus, Caroline Coughlin and husband, Seth, of Dallas, Texas, and Kendell Crawford of Starkville; and seven great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Jay, Kelli, Reed, Peyton, Charlie and Anna Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Wilson, Sr., and son, Charles E. “Eddie” Wilson, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Pittman, Jimmy Matthews, Sid Herring, Matt Fowler, Mitchell Terrell, Shea Terrell, Lynn Pyron and Mickey Matthews.
