Oree Aldy

Oree Aldy died at Trinity Place in Columbus, on March 11, 2011, at age 95.
She was a homemaker and spent most of her adult years living in Jackson.
She has always been active in the United Methodist Churches where she has lived. Athletics were a part of her life with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Aldy was preceded in death by her husband, J. G. Aldy; a son, Sonny Aldy and a daughter, Martha Aldy Whiteside; grandson, Shan Whiteside and brother, Carlton Bynum.
She is survived by her son, Ron Aldy (Wanda) of Goodman, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, on Monday, March 14, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bob Whiteside officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Martha Aldy Whiteside Memorial Scholarship Fund, Mississippi United Methodist Foundation, Inc., P. O. Box 2415, Ridgeland, MS 39158-2415.
