April 20, 2011

Emergency management officials said several funnel clouds were seen in and around the Starkville area Wednesday afternoon, but as of 6:30 p.m., no tornados were reported.
Winds and small hail were reported as part of afternoon storms.
Despite various reports, no tornados have been reported at Bryan Field nor on the Mississippi State University campus, according to Emergency Management.
Officials did report flooding in various areas around Starkville, including the intersection at Hwy. 182 and Jackson St., and the intersection of Reed Road and Hospital Road.
Storms will continue throughout the night, but despite conflicting reports, no damage building or other damage has been reported due to storms from Wednesday afternoon.
