Ada Ruth Jones Richards

Ada Ruth Jones Richards, 92, passed away on April 21, 2011, at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She enjoyed family and friends, as well as quilting, fishing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas Richards.
She is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Ruth Craig (Orville) of Starkville, Faye Box (Billy Joe) of Ackerman, and Myrtis Malone (Bill) of Sturgis; sister, Tommie Virginia Rish of Boston, Mass.; brother, Max Jones (Ercel) of Sturgis; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, April 22 from 5-8 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, and then again Saturday, April 23 from 10-11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, in Craig Springs with the service immediately following. Rev. Jr. Davis and Rev. Tim Buchanan will conduct the service. Burial will be in McClelland Cemetery in Craig Springs .
Memorial donations may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund.
