Mary Emma Sikes

Miss Mary Emma Sikes, 86, of Starkville, passed away at Starkville Manor Nursing Home on Friday, April 29, 2011.
She was a retired cashier for Giant Market.  Mary was also a well known baby sitter and was still very close to many of her families.
She is survived by a close friend Joyce McKibben of Starkville; and a cousin John Robert Cockrell of French Camp. 
Visitation for Miss Sikes will be held on Sunday, May 1, at Emmanuel Baptist Church from 2 to 3 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 1, at 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Kenny Hodges, Rev. Nap Clark, and Rev. Butch Simmons. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Bradley.
