Bonnie Jean McVay Henderson

Bonnie Jean McVay Henderson, 83, passed away on May 2, 2011 at her residence in Starkville.  She was a retired nurse with Oktibbeha County Hospital and member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Glenn McVay.
She is survived by her husband, Malcolm E. Henderson of Starkville; sons, Mark Todd Henderson (Jeanie) of Tupelo, and Dan Edward Henderson (Donna) of Memphis, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Callie Elizabeth Henderson of Starkville, Megan Elizabeth Henderson of Memphis, Tenn., Clay Pounds of Oxford and Clark Pounds of Tupelo.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4 from 6-8 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.  Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 5 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home.  Rev. Jason Middleton will conduct the service.  Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.
