Average Mississippi gas prices reported by MississippiGasPrices.com Tuesday remain similar to those reported last week, while the national average has fallen slightly.
The site reports a 0.3 cent per gallon drop in Mississippi’s average gas prices in the past week, which stood at $3.74 per gallon Tuesday. Meanwhile, the national average stood at $3.92 per gallon, 2.4 cents lower than a week ago.
That puts Mississippi prices per gallon $1.03 higher than the same day one year ago and 8 cents higher than a month ago, according to the site. The national average is $1.05 higher than a year ago and 11.8 cents higher than a month ago.
