Christine Fulgham Shurden, age 88, of Tyler, died Sunday, June 12, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Archie Lee Shurden; son Jimmy Lee Shurden; grandsons Bruce Anthony Shurden, Troy Clardy, Chad Ashley Shurden; and great-granddaughter Stephanie Leigh Turner;
She is survived by her son Bruce Shurden (Shirley), daughters Alice Shurden Hinson (Tony), Carol Shurden Lewellen, and Katie Shurden Corley (Stewart). She is also survived by her sisters Ruby Fulgham Reed, Dorothy Fulgham Shurden, Bettye Fulgham Mae, 26 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Sister Springs Baptist Church in Tyler on Wednesday, June 15 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Robert Bayne officiating and Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brad Turner, Mark Turner, David Turner, Chris Graham, Scott Etheridge, Stephen Turner and Jim Shurden.
