Nell James

Nell Davis James, 88, passed away on June 16, 2011 at OCH Regional  Medical Center in Starkville. She was a retired dental assistant and a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie James.
She is survived by her son, Doug James (Susan) of  Starkville; granddaughter, Ginger Tolar (Scott) of  Houston, Texas; grandson, Justin James of  Clearwater, Fla.; and great-grandchild, Claire Tolar of Houston, Texas.
Visitation for Mrs. James is scheduled for Friday, June 17 from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church in Starkville. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 18 at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist  Church. Rev. Clifton Curtis will conduct the service. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. in the James Family Cemetery in Polkville.
Memorial donations may be made to the Gideons or First Baptist Church Building Fund.
