A 4-County lineman is recovering in a Jackson area hospital after an electrical accident Wednesday.
The lineman was injured while working in Clay County Wednesday morning and was taken to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was later transported to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Brandon for observation. He is alert and conscious and was taken to the burn center as a precaution.
4-County CEO/General Manager Joe Cade said the cooperative’s focus is on the injured lineman.
“The thoughts and prayers of cooperative employees are with our co-worker. Certainly, we are praying for his speedy recovery. Our linemen place themselves in intense working conditions each and every day and we appreciate them so much,” Cade said. “Safety is and has always been a top priority for the cooperative.”
