MABEN — Peggie Pollard Cordell, 64, laboratory technician at OCH Regional Medical Center, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle in Columbus.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday July 11 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Don Parish and Bro. Eddie Brock officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Choctaw County.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cordell is survived by her husband, Michael W. Cordell of Maben; her mother Iris Pollard of Starkville; three sons, Tommy W. (Leigh Ann) Phelps of Mathiston, Steven R. (Stephanie) Phelps of Starkville, and Scottie D. Yeatman of Mathiston; a sister,Dot P. Shivers of Starkville; two brothers, Roy Pollard and Benny Pollard, both of Starkville; and four grandchildren, Candis, Carley, Garrett and Mattie Phelps.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Raymond Pollard, and an aunt, Estelle B. Smith, and a host of other aunts and uncles.
Mrs. Cordell was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Mathiston.
Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora is in charge of all arrangements.
