MABEN — Mrs. Eva Carroll Bland, 83 of Maben, passed away July 8, 2011 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Mrs. Bland was a retired homemaker. She was also a mail and newspaper carrier for Oktibbeha and Webster counties.
She is survived by her husband, James Thomas Bland, of Maben; son, Danny Thomas Bland (Peta) of Missouri; a sister, Mamie C. Griffin of Maben; grandchildren, Niesha Lee (Art), Molly Golian (Keith), and Kasey Bland; and great grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey, Thomas and Meredith.
Visitation for Mrs. Bland will be held on Sunday, July 10, from 5-7 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Maben.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11, at 10 a.m. at Cumberland Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Randle Poss and Rev. J.R. Eaton. Burial will follow in Maben Memorial Gardens.
