Sarah Louise Wade Howell, 91, of Starkville, passed away at OCH Regional Medical Center on Sunday, July 10, 2011.
Howell was the retired owner of Starkville Café and the Derby Restaurants.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Thomas Howell.
Mrs. Howell is survived by her daughters, Peggy Raines and Susan Wolf; sons, Richard Howell (Grace), Robert Howell (Ruby), Johnny Howell, Jerry Howell (Vicki), Wade Howell (Allene) and Larry Howell; brother, Clyde "Starchy" Wade (Martha); sisters-in-law, Margie Wade and Margaret Wade, all of Starkville; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 12, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Tom Daniel.  Burial will follow in Oktibbeha Memorial Garden.
