Martinez, Ga. – Entered into rest Friday, July 22, 2011, Dr. Carlton R. Sollie, Sr., 86, husband of Sally Kate Sollie.
Family members in addition to his wife include sons: Ray Sollie (Laura) of Evans, Ga., Mark Sollie (Kay) of Martinez, Ga.; daughter, Donna Sollie (Chuck) of Auburn, Ala.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was a former professor at Mississippi State University.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
