Paula Hamilton Benson

Paula Hamilton Benson, age 59, passed away at her residence in Sturgis on August 6, 2011.  She was a born again believer and a retired homemaker.  She shared a deep love for her family and grandchildren. 
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, August 8 at Sturgis Baptist Church at 2 p.m.  A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2 p.m.  She is survived by two daughters, D.D. Gregg Arney of Ackerman and Niki Benson Strickland of Starkville; two brothers, Chad Hamilton of Sturgis and Stephen Hamilton of Wicksburg, Ala.; one sister, Christi Parker and her husband, Keith, of Sturgis; four grandchildren, Dillon Arney, Brooke Arney, Andrew Arney, and Macee Reid Strickland;  and a host of nieces and nephews.
In leiu of flowers the family has requested to make a memorial donation to the Paula Hamilton Benson Fund c/o Sturgis  Baptist Church, P.O. Box 6, Sturgis, MS 39769.
