LOUISVILLE — Miss Betty Sue Jackson, 79, died Monday, August 8, 2011, at Carrington Nursing Home in Starkville.
Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, on Wednesday, August 10, from 9 a.m. until service time.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, with Rev. Prentiss Gordon officiating. 
Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Methodist Cemetery in North Winston County. 
Miss Jackson was born on April 26, 1932.  She was a member of Tate Street Baptist Church of Corinth. Betty graduated from Sturgis High School and from Mississippi College. She taught at Sturgis High School and at Biggersville High School. Later she was employed by and Tennessee River Plywood Company, from which she retired.
She is survived by two sisters,  Lelia Jackson of Sturgis and Mercede Tabor Doty, and husband, Don, of Starkville; a brother, Alfred Jackson and wife, Rachel, of Sturgis; and two sisters-in law, Frances Jackson of Sturgis and Helen Jackson of Clinton; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. 
Miss Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Chapman and Susie Lloyd Jackson; sisters, Virginia Jackson and husband, Odell, Polly Sprayberry and husband, Earl, and Rebecca Jackson; and brothers, Boose Jackson, Gines Jackson and Ruben Jackson.
