Brenda Harden, chair of the Books and Authors program for the Friends of the Starkville Library, looks over “The Tender Mercy of Roses,” with the first author of the 2011-2012 season, Anna Michaels. The monthly lunch hour program is free to everyone. This season, the programs will be held on the second Thursday of the month, with the exception of November.
