Funeral services for Hal Purnell will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m. at Beth-el M.B. Church with Rev. Lee Brand, Jr. officiating.
Burial will be at Beth-el Cemetery with West Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept.16, from 1-6 p.m. at West Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Purnell, 81, of Starkville, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011. He was a retired educator in the Starkville Public Schools District. He was a Baptist.
