In announcing his candidacy for the position of Constable District 2, Tim Cook made the following statement:
“My name is Tim Cook and I am running for the position of Constable District 2. I currently work at the Oktibbeha County Sheriffs Department as a deputy and have 12 years of law enforcement experience. I also have 17 years of military service with one tour of duty in Iraq along with other tours.
“I am a native of Chickasaw County and moved to Starkville in 2004 at which time I started work with the Starkville Police Department. During my time in Starkville I have also coached sports consisting of youth flag football, baseball and softball. I also am a Master Mason and a member of Houston Lodge No. 67.
“I have been married for 14 years to Brandy Cook who currently works at Advantage Finance and we have two kids, Lindsay and Jordan who attend Starkville Public Schools. We are members of Meadowview Baptist Church where I currently serve as the outreach leader.
I know that I am the right man for the job due to my knowledge, experience and willingness to work. Come out to the polls on Nov. 8 and vote Tim Cook for Constable District 2.
