ACKERMAN — Funeral services for Hansel Murphy will be Sunday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. at Salem Independent Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Jordan officiating.
Burial will be at Salem Independent Methodist Church Cemetery near Ackerman with Coleman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 at Coleman Funeral Home and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at Salem Independent Methodist Church.
Mr. Murphy, 78, of Ackerman, died Oct. 13, 2011, at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. He is a retired Mississippi State University employee. He was a member of Salem Independent Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army.
