Funeral services for Dorothy Clark Hobson of Starkville will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, at Kilmichael United Methodist Church in Kilmichael, with burial to follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Kilmichael. Rev. Barbara Lott and Rev. William Johnson will officiate the services.
A visitation will be held at the church on Monday, from noon until 2 p.m. Oliver Funeral Home of Winona is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hobson died of heart failure at her residence on Thursday, Oct. 20. She was 92 years old.
Mrs. Hobson was the daughter of the late Isaac Smith and Eva Mansker Clark, and the widow of the late Karl V. Hobson.  She graduated from MSCW and earned a master’s degree from Oklahoma State University. She was a retired home extension worker, college professor and homemaker. Mrs. Hobson was a member of First Methodist Church in Starkville.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hobson was preceded in death by three sisters, Almira Clark, Maud Rogers and Ruth Clark Rogers Grimes; and three brothers, Robert Ernest Clark, James Colon Clark, and William Edwin Clark.
Survivors include her stepchildren and several nieces and nephews.Â
