Laura Belle Edmonds Bock

Laura Belle Edmonds Bock, 88, died Oct. 21, 2011, at OCH Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
Laura attended business school in Jackson, while Ray was serving the country in WWII. Following the war and returning to Starkville, Laura was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
For many years she was a children’s Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church and a 4-H youth leader for Oktibbeha County students.
Laura is preceded in death by her husband Ray Bock, father Thomas Edmonds, mother Mamie Sanders Edmonds, and brother Thomas Edmonds, and sisters Mamie Michaels and Mary Robinson.
She is survived by her son Robert and wife Rebecca, grandchildren Robert, Jr. and wife Nikki, Dennis and wife Shelley, and Stephen and wife Ashley, and great-grand children Brittany, Hunter, Amber, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Landon, George, and Oscar.
A private family graveside will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23, at Memorial Garden Park in Starkville conducted by Rev. Clifton Curtis.
In lieu of flowers family ask memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church, 106 E. Lampkin St., Starkville, MS 39759.
