Terrell Bane Morgan, 82, passed away on Oct. 24, 2011 at Vicker's Personal Care Home in Mathiston.
He was a retired mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and a farmer. He was a member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Glenn (Bill) and Lillie Mae Jackson Morgan; son, Dennis Morgan; and granddaughter, Natalie Morgan Nason.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Laura Morgan; son, Steve Morgan and wife Shelia; daughter-in-law, Sue Ann Morgan; sister, Marion Glenn Miller; brother, Jerry Morgan and wife Frances, all of Sturgis; grandchildren, Ben Morgan and wife Sydney, Drew Morgan, Josh Morgan and wife Ashley, Whitney Moss and husband Matt; five step grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Morgan is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 10-11 a.m. at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church in Sturgis, with the funeral service immediately following. Rev. Russell Mord will conduct the service. Burial will be in Morgan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Sturgis Baptist Church Mission Fund.
