Mrs. Mary Kathryn Nation Bishop, 64, of West Point died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Bishop was born Feb. 20, 1947, in Starkville to the late Thomas and Delma Stone Nation. She was a member of West Point Church of God and a retired dispatcher from the West Point Police Department.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at West Point Church of God with Rev. Al Stockton officiating.
Burial will follow in Clarkston Cemetery in Webster County.
Serving as pallbearers will be Avery Cook, Cleve Carroll, Patrick Culley, Jeremy Dubois, Mark Stafford and Johnny Hancock.
Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at Robinson Funeral Home. The body will lie in state Friday at the church one hour before service time.
She is survived by a son, Christopher Fox (Pamela) of West Point; daughters, Andrea Fox Brooks (Malcolm) of West Point, Norma Fox Earnest of Joplin, Mo., Angela Kathryn Fox of West Point; brother, Bobby Eugene Nation of Jacksonville, Ark.; four grandchildren, Krysta Mendoza, Ryan Mendoza, Miranda Brooks and Kendall Fox.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Nation.
